Woman Accused Of Stabbing Boyfriend Released From Jail

CLEVELAND -- A woman accused of killing her live-in boyfriend was released from jail on Monday.

Police said they were called to an apartment complex on Lorain Road Saturday morning.

Officers said 42-year-old John Valoven had been stabbed. Police said Valoven was taken to Fairview General Hospital where he died in surgery.

Neighbors heard fighting and they said it was not an isolated incident.

"I heard a dispute in the hallway. I heard them yelling. I guess the guy locked her out. She was yelling to let her back in," said neighbor Shane Morrison.

Valoven's girlfriend was released from jail with no charges. Officials saif the case will be presented to a grand jury.
