Woman Dies After Being Stabbed Near Department Store

EAST CLEVELAND, Ohio -- A 40-year-old woman was taken to the hospital Tuesday after she was found stabbed in East Cleveland.

Officials said Tracie Rodgers was transported by a personal car to Huron Hospital at about 11:30 a.m. Tuesday, but died of her stab wounds.

East Cleveland police were called to the hospital after Rodgers died.

She was found on Hayden Avenue, near Silverman's Department store.

An autopsy is pending.

Police have made no arrests.
