NORTH CANTON, Ohio -- Christopher Smith wants answer on how his cell phone records were found in a Dumpster behind an Alltel store in Jackson Township.

The files thrown away included customers' Social Security numbers, addresses and phone numbers.

"I was really livid about it,” Smith said.

A spokesman with Alltel said the papers should not have been thrown away and that the company adopted an electronic policy to avoid something like this from happening.

The company is investigating how this could have happened.

A landscaper called NewsChannel5 when he discovered the files in the Dumpster over the weekend.
