NewsChannel5 Takes Top Honors At Emmy Awards

The local Emmy Awards took place Saturday night and NewsChannel5 earned a few top honors.

"Academic Challenge" with Jason Nicholas won best children-youth programming.

The investigative team was honored for Duane Pohlman's "Caught in a Flash" series and Ron Regan won for "Cashing in on Kindness."

The NewsChannel5 Troubleshooter team, including Joe Pagonakis won for community service. Producers, photographers and editors were honored for ther work on those stories, as well.
