Conditions To Be Clear For 4th Festivities

The cool, rainy weather is going to disappear in time for the Fourth of July weekend.

Power of 5 meteorologist Jeff Mackel said the high will be 72 degrees with isolated showers.

The temperature will be in the mid-70s on both Saturday and Sunday and conditions will be dry.

Temperatures in the 80s will return by the latter of next week.

Here's a look at the extended forecast:

Tonight: mostly cloudy in the evening, then becoming partly cloudy. Lows in the upper 50s. Northwest winds 5 to 10 mph, becoming northeast after midnight.

Independence Day: partly cloudy. Highs in the mid 70s. East winds around 5 mph, becoming northwest in the afternoon.

Saturday Night: partly cloudy. Lows in the mid 50s. West winds 5 to 10 mph, becoming southwest after midnight.

Sunday: partly cloudy. Highs in the upper 70s. West winds around 5 mph, becoming north in the afternoon.

Sunday Night: partly cloudy. Lows in the upper 50s.

Monday: partly cloudy. Highs in the mid 70s.

Monday Night: partly cloudy. Lows around 60.

Tuesday: partly cloudy. Highs in the mid 70s.
